Judith Jáuregui nominated to the ICMA 2025 Awards with her latest album 'Homeland'

Judith Jáuregui has been nominated to the 2025 International Classical Music Awards (ICMA), one of the most prestigious classical musical awards worldwide, together with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León (OSCyL) and maestro Kaspar Zehnder. The ICMA are one of the most prestigious classical music awards worldwide and its jury is composed of music critics from different countries, who annually select nominees from a selection of CDs and DVDs from European, Asian and North American labels. The aim of the awards, according to the organization itself, is to support musical interpretation and creativity at the highest level, and to promote authentic voices of classical music.

'I am very grateful for this nomination which I, of course, share with my wonderful companions on this journey, the OSCyL and my dear friend Kaspar Zehnder. An album implies months of preparation, of reflection, and prior and subsequent work to the recording, before coming to fruition. Therefore, the ICMA award nomination, in addition to being for an album in which I present two works that particularly fascinate me – Grieg`s Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16 and Nights in the Gardens of Spain by Manuel de Falla – is a recognition that makes me very happy', Jáuregui said upon learning about the nomination.
