Excellent collaboration with the Bayerische Kammerphilharmonie

Judith enjoyed a warm welcome in her debut in Armenia, where she inaugurated her 24/25 season offering a recital concert within the Komitas International Music Festival, with music by Komitas - one of Armenia’s most composers - as well as Chopin, Falla, Debussy and Grieg.

A few weeks later she has joined the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra of Bavaria (Bayerische Kammerphilharmonie) in two very exciting concerts at the Auditorio Kursaal in San Sebastián, with which she opened the classical season of Kursaal Eszcena, and subsequently at the Sociedad Filarmónica de Bilbao. In both instances, the orchestra – which was conducted by its first violin, Gabriel Adorján – and Judith played together Haydn’s Keyboard Concerto in D major, Hob.XVIII:11.

El Diario Vasco - the leading daily newspaper of San Sebastian - applauded the performance, remarking that “'Judith Jáuregui was the protagonist of the Keyboard Concerto in D major by Haydn, offering rhythmic certainty and complete control of the pedal, achieving an enveloping but always clear sound. The pianist gifted the audience with a performance characterized by clarity, beautiful color, a crafted articulation and evident complicity with Gabriel Adorjan, who fused himself with his orchestra companions forming one single instrument. Jáuregui, very moved by the ocassion, offered an expressive Chopin as an encore.”

Judith and the orchestra will join forces once again next January in Germany, when they will play together in Augsburg and Ottingen. Before and afterwards, Judith will perform on a number of major Spanish stages, including the Auditorio Manuel de Falla in Granada, the Auditorio Miguel Delibes in Valladolid, la Sociedad de Conciertos in Alicante and the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid.
