Die romantische Seele, Judith's latest album, nominated to the Opus Klassic Awards

Judith has been nominated to the Opus Klassik awards, one of the most prestigious classical music prizes worldwide, with her album Die Romantische Seele (The Romantic Soul), the sixth of her career. The Spanish pianist has been selected alongside great international artists in the Solo Interpretation of the Year category.

Published in June 2020 by the label ARS Produktion, Die Romantische Seele celebrates German romanticism through the profound union of two of its great exponents: Robert and Clara Schumann. The album includes the Concert for piano and orchestra by Robert Schumann - one of the summits of the repertoire for the instrument - recorded with the Orquestra Simfònica Camera Musicae with its lead conductor Tomàs Grau, as well as three pieces for piano solo by the composers that reveal their mutual admiration and artistic inspiration, which were constants in the Schumann marriage.

Prior to this important nomination, Die Romantische Seele has been fantastically received by international critics. This is the second occasion in which an album by Judith Jáuregui opts to an Opus Klassik award following the nomination in 2020 of her fifth album, Pour le tombeau de Claude Debussy - live from Vienna, which competed in the Live Recording category.
