Biography

 


Destined to be one of the greatest performers in Spain, Judith Jáuregui (San Sebastian, 1985) is already considered the finest pianist of her generation.
                                              
Winner of the final-year Prize of Honour from the San Sebastian Conservatory, she furthered her studies with Claudio Martinez Mehner and forms part of the small group of artists selected as pupils by the great Russian master Vadim Suchanov at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich.
 
Following her debut recital at the tender age of 11, she has won numerous international awards and has been successfully received in prestigious festivals including San Sebastian’s Quincena Musical, the Peralada Festival, Granada’s Festival of Music and Dance, and La Roque d'Antheron International Piano Festival in France.
 
Judith now features regularly on the musical programmes of the main stages in Spain, like the Barcelona Auditorium, the National Auditorium in Madrid, the Euskalduna Concert Hall in Bilbao, the Miguel Delibes Auditorium in Valladolid, Malaga’s Philharmonic Society and the Villamarta Theatre in Jerez.
 
She has recorded for major media such as Radio Nacional de España, Radio Televisión España, and Radio France’s France Musique network, and has just released her first solo album, entitled "Robert Schumann, el arte de lo pequeño" (Robert Schumann, the art of small things) with Columna Música, which is one of this season’s must-haves.
